Here's The Lancashire Telegraph's best guess on how Rovers might line-up against Bristol City in the Championship.
Goalkeeper
Aynsley Pears will be between the sticks for Rovers. He kept his second clean sheet of the season at Ewood Park last time out.
Defence
Eustace hinted at a possible formation change but I see little reason to disturb Rovers' backline after a clean sheet.
Harry Pickering could be rotated/rested after a recent injury issue. It could be a big ask for him to play twice in 72 hours. Ben Chrisene is on standby.
Hayden Carter and Kyle McFadzean will have to stay patient due to the form of Dom Hyam and Scott Wharton.
Midfield
Joe Rankin-Costello has been fantastic lately but after three starts in eight days, now might be the time for him to get a breather with Leeds at the weekend.
John Buckley is pushing for a recall after injury to partner Sondre Tronstad in his place.
Attack
Ryan Hedges' injury leaves a vacancy in attack, most likely to be filled by Dilan Markanday. The winger has performed well off the bench in the last two games.
Sam Szmodics, Sam Gallagher and Tyrhys Dolan should all keep their places in attack.
Predicted Blackburn Rovers team: Pears; Brittain, Hyam, Wharton, Chrisene; Tronstad, Buckley; Markanday, Szmodics, Dolan; Gallagher.
