Charlie Weston has joined National League Kidderminster Harriers on loan for the remainder of the campaign.
It is the midfielder’s first loan away from Ewood Park, having been regularly involved for Mike Sheron’s Under-21 side this season.
The 19-year-old will be hoping to get valuable experience of men’s football under his belt as he continues his development.
Weston joined Rovers’ Academy ranks aged 14 and signed his first professional deal in the summer of 2022.
He has been named on the bench three times for the first team and has also represented England at youth level.
The midfielder will now get the chance to play under former Hull boss Phil Brown, who took charge at Kidderminster in January.
The Reds find themselves 22nd in the National League table, two points from safety, as they battle against the drop.
Brown’s side are back in action this weekend when they head to Grosvenor Vale to take on Wealdstone.
