Here's The Lancashire Telegraph's best guess on how Rovers might line-up against Swansea City in the Championship.
Goalkeeper
Aynsley Pears was again in top form against Newcastle and will be between the sticks again. His run of good performances has been a big positive.
Defence
In defence, Rovers will likely stick with the same back three that has served them so well.
Connor O'Riordan is available again after being cup-tied against Newcastle. Ryan Hedges is being assessed with a groin problem and I don't think he'll be back for this one.
Harry Pickering didn't feature in midweek and I'd expect him to start at left-wing-back in the only change to the defence.
Midfield
Sondre Tronstad is a doubt with an ankle issue which ruled him out of Newcastle. If he's unavailable, John Buckley and Andrew Moran could continue in the centre.
The pair performed admirably against Newcastle and were taken off around the hour so should be ok to go again.
Jake Garrett and Yasin Ayari did well when they were introduced too so there is good competition in the middle of the pitch.
Attack
Sam Gallagher went off with a calf issue and is another doubt. Reading between the lines, I don't think he'll start.
Arnor Sigurdsson and Dilan Markanday did well off the bench on Tuesday and I think the latter will get the nod in attack.
Predicted Blackburn Rovers team: Pears; Brittain, Hyam, McFadzean, Wharton, Pickering; Moran, Buckley; Dolan, Sigurdsson, Szmodics.
