Here's The Lancashire Telegraph's best guess on how Rovers might line-up against Newcastle United in the FA Cup.
Goalkeeper
Aynsley Pears will keep his place in goal with Eustace looking to name a strong team against Premier League opposition.
Defence
Rovers are without Connor O'Riordan, who is cup-tied having played for Crewe Alexandra earlier in the competition. Kyle McFadzean is available having only been an unused substitute for Coventry City in the previous rounds.
Ryan Hedges won't be involved after picking up a groin injury against Norwich City. Harry Pickering will come in for him.
Dom Hyam and Scott Wharton are likely to be asked to go again. The question is whether Eustace rests McFadzean after a lot of football in recent weeks. Pickering could slot in at left-centre-back with Ben Chrisene at wing-back or Billy Koumetio could get his Rovers debut.
Midfield
Rovers will need experience against Newcastle's midfield and so Sondre Tronstad may keep his place. John Buckley will also hope to start after impressing against Norwich.
Andrew Moran might also come into the team as a third midfielder, with the flexibility of also playing in one of the attacking roles.
Attack
Rovers will be wary of overworking Sam Gallagher and he might be on the bench as a result. It wouldn't be a surprise to see Sam Szmodics and Tyrhys Dolan as a two-pronged attack.
Predicted Blackburn Rovers team: Pears; Brittain, Hyam, Wharton, Pickering, Chrisene; Tronstad, Buckley; Moran, Dolan, Szmodics.
