Here's how The Lancashire Telegraph scored the players' performances, with a six representing par for the course.
Aynsley Pears - 8
Swept up really well behind the defence. Norwich beat the offside trap on a few occasions but he was there to prevent the danger.
Dom Hyam - 7
Headed in the equaliser where he showed good appetite to get to the ball first. Wasn't at his best on the ball but defended his box well.
Kyle McFadzean - 6
Won plenty of headers and a fair few tackles too.
Scott Wharton - 7
Solid at the back. Won plenty in the air.
Callum Brittain - 5
Didn't have the best first half with a number of loose passes. Improved after the break as did most of the team.
Sondre Tronstad - 6
Like Brittain, struggled in the first half but was better after the restart.
John Buckley - 7
First Championship start of the season. Started and finished the match strong but drifted a little in the middle. Sets the tempo and he's usually at the heart when Rovers are playing their best football.
Ryan Hedges - 6
Only lasted 15 minutes after being recalled to the side. Walked off so hopefully nothing too serious.
Tyrhys Dolan - 6
Worked hard but didn't get much of a sight at goal.
Sam Szmodics - 6
Credit to him for rushing back to play after the birth of his second child. Didn't get any real opportunities to score.
Sam Gallagher - 7
Had three decent opportunities, the best of the two were in the air. Couldn't have done much more, good saves from Gunn.
Substitutes:
Harry Pickering (Hedges, 15') - 8
Forced on early into the game and didn't put a foot wrong. His choice of pass and execution was fantastic. Great delivery for the equaliser.
Andrew Moran (Buckley, 74') - 6
On for Buckley in a deeper role. Got around the pitch.
Arnor Sigurdsson (Dolan, 85') - N/A
A late attacking change. One sight of goal but the cross-cum-shot was cleared.
Unused substitutes: Wahlstedt, O'Riordan, Chrisene, Garrett, Ayari, Telalovic.
Referee: Oliver Langford
Attendance: 12,956
