Here's The Lancashire Telegraph's best guess on how Rovers might line-up against Birmingham City in the Championship
Goalkeeper
Aynsley Pears will continue in goal for Blackburn Rovers. The 25-year-old has been fantastic since returning from injury.
Defence
If it's not broken, don't fix it! There's little argument for any changes at the back, even if Scott Wharton is back in contention after illness.
Ryan Hedges is the only player who could perhaps drop out after so long on the sidelines. He came through the game unscathed but the medical team will assess him to ensure he doesn't break down.
Otherwise, it will be a back three of Dom Hyam, Kyle McFadzean and Ben Chrisene with Callum Brittain and Hedges as wing-backs.
Midfield
Jake Garrett will be pushing for a recall but Sondre Tronstad and Joe Rankin-Costello performed admirably in the centre of midfield and should keep their places.
Rovers aren't short of options in the middle with Yasin Ayari, John Fleck and John Buckley in reserve too.
Attack
The front three of Sam Gallagher, Tyrhys Dolan and Sam Szmodics worked fantastically well on Saturday.
The trio will no doubt start again in attack and look to cause problems for the Birmingham defence.
Predicted Blackburn Rovers team: Pears; Brittain, Hyam, McFadzean, Chrisene, Hedges; Rankin-Costello, Tronstad; Dolan, Szmodics, Gallagher.
