Jon Dahl Tomasson has called on Blackburn Rovers fans to be patient with their new signings as he looks to get them up to speed.
Kyle McFadzean, Billy Koumetio, Connor O'Riordan and John Fleck were all included in the squad against Queens Park Rangers but were unused substitutes.
The Blackburn Rovers head coach had been calling for 'help' in the January transfer window, with an emphasis on experienced players to help their young group.
Seven new faces arrived, two of which tick that box in the form of McFadzean and Fleck. Neither player had been featuring regularly for their previous club and will take some time to gain full match sharpness.

36-year-old McFadzean last started a match in November for Coventry City whilst Fleck had only managed 90 minutes of football for Sheffield United this season. Both have signed short-term deals until the end of the season.
"I'm a head coach, I train the players. We all know we've been stretched for a long time. It's great to see some players in the building," Tomasson said.
"Some of them are short-term. Some are loans. There are players that haven't played at this level so we have to get them up to speed.
"There are experienced players that haven't played much. Players we can't put on immediately because they haven't played for a while.
"November for Kyle (McFadzean), John (Fleck) has played 90 minutes this season, we can't just put them on. We have to get them up to speed so please be patient with them.
"It's a brilliant league, isn't it? When you haven't been able to spend in the winter, zero transfer (fees). It doesn't surprise us. You can win and lose in each game, we see that every week."
Tomasson also addressed the sale of Adam Wharton for a 'club record' transfer fee. The midfield was sold to Crystal Palace for a total package believed to be in the region of £22million.
Tomasson was always consistent that he'd have liked to have kept Wharton until the summer but did not begrudge the teenager of a Premier League move.
He insists that the club and supporters should be proud of his development. Tomasson admitted it was a good deal for Rovers considering their financial situation.
"It's been a very difficult situation with all the financial situation, we know that.
"Even with the financial problems, the club was able to make a record sale which is great for the books. A record sale for Rovers. We are proud of Adam Wharton's sale as a Rovers man.
"The fans should be proud, he's our biggest sale. Steve Waggott said we had to stay in the league and develop players. One of those is already done.
"Would I like to keep Adam, sure? I understand football."
