Here's how The Lancashire Telegraph scored the players' performances, with a six representing par for the course.
Leopold Walhstedt - 4
Should've done far better for the Rotherham equaliser. It's the fourth game running he's made a costly error.
Callum Brittain - 7
Much better from the right-back. Defended his channel well and caused more problems in the final third.
James Hill - 7
The Bournemouth loanee was back to his usual standards after poor display at Hull. Set up the second goal but let Eaves get in front of him for the equaliser.
Hayden Carter - 7
Tried to drive up the pitch at every opportunity against a deep defence. Defended his box well.
Harry Pickering - 6
Almost scored for the second match running after a great strike from the edge of the box. Could've got closer to Revan for the cross into the box for Eaves' header.
Sondre Tronstad - 6
Kept things ticking over in the middle of the park without standing out. Has done well to sustain energy levels considering he's started every game over this festive period.
Adam Wharton - 7
Manipulates the ball so well to get things moving. He's definitely improving defensively too.
Sam Szmodics - 6
Took his 16th of the season very well, rounding the goalkeeper. Could've had one in the first half too but he put it wide. Gave the ball away too often in the second half.
Andrew Moran - 6
A much-improved performance after looking off the pace in the last few weeks. Final pass was just lacking, at times.
Arnor Sigurdsson - 7
A lot more involved in the general play. Linked it well and took his sixth of the season cooly.
Semir Telalovic - 7
Another good outing. Pressed really well, linked up nicely and had a goal-bound shot blocked in front of goal. Tired in the second half.
Substitutes:
Dilan Markanday (Moran, 64') - 5
Gave the ball away and didn't impact the final third.
Niall Ennis (Telalovic, 64') - 6
One tame header at the goalkeeper.
Unused substitutes: Hilton, Gamble, Weston, Travis, Garrett Gilsenan, Leonard.
Referee: Jarred Gillet
Attendance: 13,054
