Here's The Lancashire Telegraph's best guess on how Rovers might line-up against Watford in the Championship.
Goalkeeper
Leopold Wahlstedt will once again be in goal. He made some fantastic saves against Southampton but could've done better for the opening goal.
Defence
With Callum Brittain suspended, there is little room for change as far as the defence is concerned.
Dom Hyam will start the match at centre-back after a full week's worth of training. That was confirmed by Jon Dahl Tomasson on Friday. The question is, who drops out?
It's a toss-up between Hayden Carter and Scott Wharton but the latter will probably make way despite his good recent form. James Hill and Harry Pickering will be the full-backs with Callum Brittain suspended.
Midfield
I think Jake Garrett is ready for a start in this Blackburn team after making some good impressions off the bench. With Sam Szmodics out, it makes sense for him to come in and join Adam Wharton in a more advanced midfield role.
Sondre Tronstad will keep his place as the more defensive-minded of the three. Alternatively, Andrew Moran could play in the centre as he did at Southampton.
Attack
With Brittian suspended, it's perhaps more likely Moran will be on the right with Arnor Sigurdsson on the left, fresh from signing permanently at the club.
Up front, Niall Ennis might get his second start of the season as he looks to build his match sharpness.
Blackburn Rovers (4-3-3): Wahlstedt; Hill, Carter, Hyam, Pickering; Tronstad, A.Wharton, Garrett; Moran, Sigurdsson, Ennis.
