Here's The Lancashire Telegraph's best guess on how Rovers might line-up against Norwich City in the Championship
Goalkeeper
Leopold Wahlstedt will once again be in goal for Rovers. He will hope to put in a better display after his error against Chelsea in the week.
Defence
In defence, Tomasson will need to shuffle things around. Hayden Carter is suspended and so therefore unavailable. It's the first Championship match he has missed this season.
James Hill will slot in at centre-back with Callum Brittain dropping to right-back, as he did in midweek against Chelsea. Scott Wharton will partner Hill with Harry Pickering at left-back.
Midfield
In midfield, Sondre Tronstad is likely to return at the base of the midfield. Adam Wharton could keep his place after impressing in midweek and as a substitute against Swansea City.
Sam Szmodics is fit to keep his place in a big fitness boost. It would be the first time this midfield combination has started in the Championship.
Attack
Harry Leonard could start up front for Rovers after getting minutes in the tank against Chelsea. Rovers need a focal point and he could provide it.
That would mean Tyrhys Dolan switching out to the left-hand side in place of Arnor Sigurdsson. Although the Icelandic forward was on the bench in midweek, he has been out of sorts lately and could be used as an impact substitute.
That would leave one position on the right side, which could go to Joe Rankin-Costello. It's a position he hasn't really played before but he could interchange with Brittain, who has played further forward in recent times.
Andrew Moran and Dilan Markanday are also in contention for a spot in the attacking third. It's the one area that Rovers actually have options.
Blackburn Rovers (4-3-3): Wahlstedt; Brittain, Hill, S.Wharton, Pickering; Tronstad, A.Wharton, Szmodics; Rankin-Costello, Dolan, Leonard.
