Here's The Lancashire Telegraph's best guess on how Rovers might line-up against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup.
Goalkeeper
Leopold Wahlstedt seems likely to stay in goal despite Jon Dahl Tomasson usually rotating his goalkeepers. With Aynsley Pears injured, it would be a big call to throw Joe Hilton into the deep end at Stamford Bridge.
Defence
In defence, Hayden Carter seems likely to start after picking up a one-match ban in the Championship. The defender will now miss Sunday's game at Norwich City and so will be in the backline at Stamford Bridge.
Scott Wharton could be his partner and Tomasson looks to get him up to full speed. James Hill has played a lot of football recently and could sit this one out.
Callum Brittain could therefore move to right-back with Harry Pickering on the left side of defence. Jake Batty hasn't featured for the first team since round one and so Pickering may keep his place.
Midfield
In midfield, Adam Wharton looks set to return in the middle of the park. Lewis Travis is back after a calf injury and Tomasson confirmed he will start the match.
Jake Garrett has scored in every round this season and will play ahead of Wharton with Travis. Sam Szmodics will be rested with Joe Rankin-Costello likely to be amongst the substitutes.
Attack
Harry Leonard is in pole position to lead the line after coming back from injury at the weekend. He got half an hour against Swansea and will get more minutes in the tank at Stamford Bridge.
Niall Ennis is also competing but is more likely to be on the bench whilst Semir Telalovic played 90 minutes for the Under-21s on Monday night at Reading and so won't be involved.
Andrew Moran will play from the left, replacing Arnor Sigurdsson, with Dilan Markanday on the opposite flank to make up the attack.
Blackburn Rovers (4-3-3): Wahlstedt; Brittain, Carter, S.Wharton, Pickering; A.Wharton, Travis, Garrett; Markanday, Moran, Leonard.
