Jon Dahl Tomasson was delighted to see Blackburn Rovers fans sent home happy after their comeback win at Millwall.
Rovers recorded their third successive Championship win at the Den, showing fantastic spirit to rally with a 2-1 win. They had fallen behind after only three minutes before working their way back into the game.
Goals from Joe Rankin-Costello and Callum Brittain ensured a third successive Championship win, lifting them up to tenth in the league table. The pair combined for the equaliser before the latter went on to score his first goal for the club with a fantastic finish into the top corner.
Tomasson was very happy with the resilience his side showed, especially after falling behind early on. He admitted his side have played better football in other games but was delighted with the intangible qualities they showed to get the win.

"It was a brilliant win," Tomasson said. "We knew it would be extremely difficult to come to London, to come to Millwall.
"To go home with three points, I am extremely delighted, especially when you concede after two minutes, 90 seconds, whatever it was. The boys showed resilience, they stayed in the game.
"It was probably not our best game on the ball but football is about a lot of different things. Working hard, showing spirit and togetherness and resilience.
"We scored an excellent goal with the goal for Joe. Quick football, one and two touches. I think it was Callum's first goal in four years, maybe he scored in training once!
"It was great to see a finish like that after a great switch from James Hill. I am delighted to give our fans a good journey back.
"It was an excellent switch of play from James and we knew there was space opposite. The finish was also brilliant.
"We could have made it easier for ourselves by taking one of those chances so the game was over. But in the end, we defended our box against a difficult side. We were fighting and showing the right attitude."
Tomasson defended Leopold Wahlstedt after his error allowed Wes Harding's header to put Millwall ahead. The Rovers head coach pointed out that errors made at the back are always more costly, compared to wasted chances in the final third.
"When a goalkeeper makes a mistake, it costs goals," Tomasson said. "When a centre-back makes a mistake, it costs goals.
"When a striker makes a mistake, not scoring those chances, it doesn't cost games. I think he can share a beer on the bus back to Rovers."
Rovers had lost nine of their 11 midweek away Championship matches, stretching back to September 2021, before tonight, last winning at Blackpool in August 2022.
