Cardiff City boss Erol Bulut magnanimously admitted Cardiff City's disallowed goal against Blackburn Rovers was the correct decision.
Dimitrios Goutas saw his header ruled out in the first half after he had risen highest to head into the back of the net. There was nothing obviously wrong with the goal but as the Bluebirds celebrated, the referee blew for offside.
Karlan Grant was stood in front of Leopold Wahlstedt as the ball flew in, though whether he was interfering with play is up for debate. However, by the letter of the law, it was a fair decision.
Bulut was confused at the process which led to the goal being chalked off but was happy to concede that the right decision was reached in the end.

"I spoke with the referees about that after the game," the Bluebirds boss said. "They said it was offside. But the linesman, if you watch, he didn't put up the flag.
"For me, it was a clear goal, then after 30 seconds he puts the flag up, so after the game I watched it and it was offside. It was offside.
"In that moment, the linesman didn't see it. They made the decision, but it was a little bit strange. But it was offside."
Rovers defender Dom Hyam conceded his side 'got away with one' with the decision. The defender admitted it was a strange scenario but thought it was a soft decision which benefited his side.
"It was an interesting one, it's disappointing from our point of view," Hyam told The Lancashire Telegraph post-match. "It happened so quickly but was sloppy and soft. I think we have got away with one, to be honest. I saw the linesman with a flag up, there must have been someone in front of Leo, obstructing his view or something.
"We got away with it, I think, that one. By the laws, he is obstructing him. We'll take it, but it's a bit soft."
Jon Dahl Tomasson didn't have a strong view after the game but pointed out the various marginal decisions that have gone against Rovers already this season.
