Jon Dahl Tomasson has insisted he does not have any issue with changing a winning team and believes his side can build a winning run over the next period of games.
Rovers beat Queens Park Rangers 4-0 before the international break, ending a run of four successive defeats where they deserved more points. Tomasson's side have not won back-to-back Championship games this season and want to end that against Cardiff City.
Having performed so well at Loftus Road, Tomasson has selection decisions to make with Adam Wharton coming back into contention. The old adage is that 'you never change a winning team' but that is not a consideration for the Rovers head coach.
"It's mixed on all of those things," Tomasson told The Lancashire Telegraph. "It's always a combination of players, the opponent as well.

"It was great to see against Accrington that we scored five goals and that is what you want. Semir scored, Sammie scored a rocket and Rankin-Costello got a hat-trick from midfield.
"We want those goals and good football. It's positive that we have been able to plan. Some players have had 90 minutes, some people only needed 30 minutes.
"It's about the load, the players are ready to go and they're gunry to do that. I don't look at whether the team has won.
"I look at the games coming up, the combination of players and the form."
A positive week against winnable opponents in Cardiff, Millwall and Swansea would help to propel Rovers up the Championship standings. Tomasson is confident that if the level of performance continues, results will follow.
"We go on the pitch to win every game and we could win the next three games," he said. "We could also lose one of the games in this league.
"If you look at the performances, we have been creating chances. We have dominated games and we have deserved a lot more. I always look at that.
"Second of all, I look at the way of playing, creating chances, but we need to defend well in those moments. There is a good chance if we do the right things we will get more points, for sure."
Semir Telalovic netted against Accrington in the behind-closed-doors game on Tuesday. His minutes in the league have been limited since his arrival but Tomasson has seen improvement since he came into the club.
"He is a boy that wants to learn but he's a boy that has been playing at a different level, we can't forget that. The fourth level in Germany is not the same as the second level in England, probably the best football country in the world.
"He wants to learn and he's doing his best. We want to give him time to settle in as well."
