Jon Dahl Tomasson was delighted to send Blackburn Rovers fans home with a smile after their 4-0 win over Queens Park Rangers.
Rovers had lost their last four Championship games travelling to Loftus Road but put on a performance for their sold-out away following. Goals from Tyrhys Dolan and Arnor Sigurdsson put them in command before the Icelandic's second and a Sam Szmodics strike registered their biggest away win of the Tomasson era.
It was just reward for the loyal fans, who sold out the top tier in West London. Having backed the team on long trips to Watford, Plymouth, Ipswich and Coventry already this season, they got to see their teams put away their chances and get the result their performance deserved.
"It's always better to win games, the way we have been playing, the boys deserve to win games," Tomasson acknowledged, with Rovers just above the bottom three before kick-off. "It's great to get three points for sure.

"If you look at the games we have lost, we have had an expected goals better than the opponent. We had the biggest chances but at the end of the day, football is being clinical in both boxes.
"We all know it's not just the Championship, each league in each country, the first goal is important.
"They were behind the team the whole game which they always are. We have been travelling a lot but our fans have also been travelling a lot. Ipswich, Plymouth on the bus. Of course, they deserve a victory."
Dilan Markanday was taken off at half-time against QPR with Callum Brittain coming on in his place. Though naturally a full-back, the former Barnsley man filled the right-wing berth to good effect.
It gave Rovers more solidity down their right, where QPR had looked most dangerous. Tomasson explained that was the reason behind the change, rather than any injury to Markanday.
"It was a tactical change. Dilan has played a lot of games and minutes which he is not used to at this level. It's the same for Callum Brittain and Andy Moran.
"Those were the reasons I did that. It's the third game in a very short period and seventh game in 21 days. There has been a lot of travelling!
"He can play like that. In the first half, there were a lot of unnecessary crosses coming from our right-hand side so that was my tactical choice."
Brittain's performance gave more food for thought with Tomasson facing a selection dilemma down the right flank after the international break.
James Hill has impressed at right-back in the last two games, whilst Brittain has also been in excellent form. Then there is Joe Rankin-Costello, who adds quality to the team whether that's at right-back or in midfield, as he was on Saturday.
Hill's introduction has made Rovers more defensively solid. He was integral to their clean sheet at Loftus Road. Dom Hyam also looked back to his best with Sondre Tronstad patrolling in front of the defence.
Tomasson was unhappy with the late chance that almost cost his side a clean sheet, with Hyam producing a brilliant last-ditch block. That preserved the shut out, Leopol Wahlstedt's first in the Championship.
"I was not happy with the shot that came in but we blocked it. It was an unnecessary chance we gave away," he said.
"Of course, a clean sheet gives confidence, not just for the goalkeeper Leo Wahlstetd, his first (league) clean sheet, but the defence. They have been working so hard to get a clean sheet."
