Harry Leonard will miss Blackburn Rovers' next three Championship matches with a tight calf but should return after the international break.
The forward has started Rovers' last two league games but is now out after picking up a knock in training. Tyrhys Dolan will train on Saturday after missing out in midweek through illness.
Niall Ennis will return to training next week but remains unavailable. Ryan Hedges will have an operation on Tuesday and is set for a minimum of three months out.
"Sam Barnes is still out, Sam Gallagher and Ryan Hedges are injured," he said. "We have got a second opinion on Ryan and he will have an operation next week.

"He will miss the next three to four months, around that time, which is a lot. Niall Ennis is still injured, it's going better with him, he will be on the grass next week, hopefully we can keep him on grass.
"It's not been perfect with him coming in with issues. Hopefully he can be involved soon. Harry Leonard will not be fit, he will be back after the international break.
"He's done really well when you consider his age and what's he done before. He's done a great job. Tyrhys Dolan will train tomorrow, he has been sick, he's not been well.
"We'll see if he's ready to go. Dilan is ok, it's been a big load for him but he's fine."
Arnor Sigurdsson has started the last two games, playing 103 minutes at Ipswich and against Cardiff as he steps up his recovery from injury. The forward will be assessed as to whether a third game in eight days is too much or if he can start.
"I need to see how he is training," he said on Sigurdsson. "I gave him 45 minutes and we could see he is tired.
"He's not used to the intensity but we also need to get him up to speed. He's lost some of the season already which is unlucky for us and for them.
"He came through those games ok body-wise but it's still a third game in a short while. Even though he's not played 90 minutes, when you've been out for three months, we'll see. The extra day is a big advantage."
Semir Telalovic could get his first Championship start with Leonard out. Alternatively, Sam Szmodics could play as a false nine with Andrew Moran in midfield, flanked by Dilan Markanday and Sigurdsson.
