Jon Dahl Tomasson is hopeful Lewis Travis and Sam Gallagher's injuries are not serious after both players went off against Middlesbrough.
The Blackburn Rovers duo were unable to complete the 90 minutes on Saturday. Gallagher went down around the hour mark and was replaced by new striker Semir Telalovic.
Travis lasted until the 75th minute but hurt himself in a full-blooded slide tackle. The Rovers skipper was replaced by Joe Rankin-Costello but was able to walk off the pitch.
Whilst Tomasson is still awaiting a full medical report on both players, he's optimistic both will be ok. Rovers face Sunderland at Ewood Park on Wednesday.

"It is too early to say," Tomasson said. "When you see Sam Gallagher go down, we know the history of him.
"I think he's ok but it's early days. For Trav, with that tackle, he is a warrior so I am curious if he won't be ready for the next game. He wants to be ready, we all know that."
Gallagher missed the opening weeks of the season through injury and will be hoping to avoid more disruption to his season. Travis has started every Championship match so far.
Summer signing Sondre Tronstad was left out of the squad by Tomasson against Middlesbrough. The Rovers head coach opted for Jake Garrett and Rankin-Costello as midfield options on the bench.
"It was a selection choice," Tomasson told The Lancashire Telegraph. "On the bench, I went for Garrett and Joe (Rankin-Costello) who can play in the midfield. That was my choice."
Tronstad started on the opening day of the season against West Brom but hasn't made the Championship starting XI since. Instead, he's been limited to substitute appearances and minutes in the Carabao Cup.
If Travis isn't fit to face Sunderland, he is likely to come back into the squad. Rankin-Costello and Jake Garrett are also vying to take his place in the starting XI.
