Rovers have revealed the new home shirt for 2023/24 season – which will be on sale from 11am.
The shirt will be worn for the first time in this weekend’s friendly at Accrington Stanley.
It is the first of three shirts that will be revealed ahead of the start of the 2023/24 season.
For the third successive year, Macron Sports are the club’s kit manufacturer, while Totally Wicked continue as principal sponsor, with their logo included on the front of all three shirts.
Watson Ramsbottom Solicitors remain back of shirt sponsor for the men’s team and also front of shirt sponsor for the Women’s team for the sixth successive season.
Rovers say a limited number of home shirts will be available to buy online and in-store from 11am today, with the Roverstore remaining open until 7pm tonight for those wanting to be the first to get their hands on the new kit.
The club add: “We expect demand to be high and therefore advise supporters hoping to secure their shirt to act quickly to avoid disappointment.
“Once the initial stock has sold out, fans will be able to pre-order the new home kit, which will be available when the main bulk delivery arrives at Ewood later this month.”
Unveiling the new kit, Rovers said: “The shirt, which incorporates an iconic feature of the club’s history, combines a traditional design with a message of sustainability and respect for the environment.
“The new kit, which is designed by Macron – the club’s official technical partner since 2021 – is made from Eco Fabric, a polyester material obtained entirely from recycled plastic.
“The shirt, which features the club’s traditional blue-and-white halves, with sleeves in the opposite colour, has a white collar and a cornflower blue V-neck to match the players’ new training wear.
“As a celebration of our past, embedded in our present, the words ROVERS F.C. are printed on the back of the neck and within the blue half of shirt in the same font that appears outside the stadium next to the statue of Jack Walker.”
