Update: Rovers have now sold out their extra 1,000 tickets for Sunday’s FA Cup quarter final.
The remaining 900 tickets from the initial allocation of 4,762 were sold out in double quick time on Monday morning.
That prompted the club to take up the offer of a further 1,000 tickets in the upper tier of the away stand at Bramall Lane.
The club announced that within 90 minutes, all of those additional tickets had gone, meaning Rovers will be backed by over 5,700 fans at Bramall Lane.

Extra tickets have now been made available in the upper tier, priced at £25 for adults.
Rovers reduced the price of official away travel to £10, having subsidised the ticket prices by 50 per cent for the game at Leicester City where they were backed by 2,626 supporters.
Jon Dahl Tomasson’s side are bidding to make it into the last four, which would bring about a first trip to the new Wembley, having last made it to the national stadium in the 1995 Charity Shield.
