A date has been set for Rovers’ FA Cup quarter final tie at Sheffield United.
Rovers will travel to Bramall Lane to face the Blades on Sunday, March 19 (12noon).
Ticket information, and the away allocation, will be announced next week.
All four quarter final ties will be shown on television, with ITV having selected the Blades v Rovers fixture.
It is the first of three games to be shown on the Sunday, with Manchester City hosting Burnley at 5.45pm on Saturday, March 18.
Rovers made it into the quarter finals for the first time in eight years, with victories over Norwich City, Birmingham City and Leicester City.
They are on their travels once again to face the Blades who beat Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night to book their place in the quarter finals.
The other ties see Manchester United host Fulham and League Two side Grimsby Town travel to Brighton & Hove Albion.
The winners will book their place in a Wembley semi-final which will be played on the weekend of April 22/23.
Rovers have already banked almost £500,000 from their FA Cup run, in terms of prize money and television revenue, with £450,000 on offer for the winner of the quarter final match.
To do that, Rovers will have to reverse recent history, having lost each of their last four visits to Bramall Lane.
