Rovers will be aiming to return to winning ways in the Championship when they take on North West neighbours Wigan.
Jon Dahl Tomasson’s men enter the game on the back of a 1-0 victory at Birmingham in an FA Cup fourth-round replay.
Rovers are currently eighth in the Championship table but a win would see them climb back into the play-off places.
Meanwhile, Wigan find themselves bottom of the table and have failed to win any of their last seven league matches.
Shaun Maloney will oversee his first game in the dugout following Kolo Toure’s sacking after just two months in charge.
When and where is the game being played?
The fixture takes place at Ewood Park tonight (Monday) with an 8pm kick-off time. Wigan ran out 1-0 winners when the sides met at the DW Stadium back in October, with Nathan Broadhead getting the decisive goal.
Rovers’ last win in the fixture came in March 2019, with Danny Graham bagging a brace and Bradley Dack also getting on the scoresheet.
The points were shared in the last meeting at Ewood Park following a goalless draw, but that game was overshadowed by Dack suffering the first of two ACL injuries.
