Seb Quirk is relishing the opportunity to experience League One football after joining Stanley from Everton on a permanent deal.
The 21-year-old midfielder has put pen to paper over a two-and-a-half-year deal at the Wham Stadium and arrives for an undisclosed fee.
Quirk made five appearances for the Toffees’ Under-21 side in the Papa Johns Trophy during the first half of the season.
He has also featured in Premier League 2 and is eager to play a part as the Reds battle to avoid the drop.
"I had a good first half of the season at Everton for the 23s. I had a good run of games, I was injury free and I feel physically ready now, said the youngster.
"When I was at Everton, I played in the Papa Johns Trophy against league teams, they were the best games with fans around you.
"They were properly intense and makes you want to do it every week, so I am buzzing to be here and I can't wait."
Quirk joined Everton at 11 years of age and signed his first professional deal in the summer of 2020.
John Coleman added: "He's our type of player, I've seen him play a few times.
"He's keen, he's desperate to make his mark in professional football and I know he's had a long spell at Everton but it's totally different once you're playing league football where there's points at stake.”
