Burnley continue their busy festive period as they take on Birmingham City in front of the TV cameras.

Vincent Kompany’s men currently sit at the top of the Championship table, having lost just two league games since the start of the campaign.

The Clarets enter the game on the back of a 2-0 defeat at Manchester United in the Carabao Cup fourth round after goals from Christian Eriksen and Marcus Rashford.

Meanwhile, Birmingham are in ninth place and recorded a 3-2 victory against Reading in their last outing. Troy Deeney bagged a brace, with Tahith Chong also on target.

When and where is the game being played?

The fixture takes place at Turf Moor on Tuesday, December 27 (8pm). It was initially scheduled for Boxing Day before being selected for TV coverage.

The points were shared when the sides met at St Andrew’s earlier in the season, with Scott Hogan cancelling out Johann Berg Gudmundsson’s opener.

The Clarets' last win in the fixture came in April 2016, with George Boyd and Andre Gray getting on the scoresheet either side of half time.

Burnley are unbeaten in their last five matches against the Blues. Their last defeat was in January 2013 when Marlon King scored a dramatic late winner.

How to follow the action

The game has been selected to be broadcast live on Sky Sports Football (channel 403 for UK viewers).

Live commentary is also available on Clarets+, while BBC Radio Lancashire will also have coverage from Turf Moor.

Will highlights be available?

Highlights will be available after the game on Clarets+ and the club’s official YouTube channel.

However, the fixture takes place after the EFL highlights show, which airs on ITV4 at 9pm on Boxing Day.
