Burnley will be aiming to cause an upset when they take on Manchester United in the Carabao Cup fourth round.

Vincent Kompany’s side overcame League Two side Crawley in the previous stage thanks to a brace from Anass Zaroury.

The Clarets currently have a healthy lead at the top of the Championship table following Saturday’s 3-1 win against Middlesbrough at Turf Moor. Manuel Benson bagged a brace as well as an own goal from Jonny Howson.

Meanwhile, United sit fifth in the Premier League table and reached this stage following a 4-2 victory against Aston Villa in the last round.

It is their first competitive fixture in more than a month following the World Cup break. Erik ten Hag's side ran out 2-1 winners at Fulham in their last outing.

When and where is the game being played?

The tie takes place at Old Trafford on Wednesday night (KO 8pm). The points were shared when the sides met in the Premier League back in February, with Jay Rodriguez cancelling out Paul Pogba’s opener.

The Clarets’ last win at Old Trafford came in January 2020. Rodriguez and Chris Wood were both on target that day.
