Burnley have added Albanian youth international Renaldo Torraj to their Under-21 ranks.
The versatile 18-year-old joins the Clarets after leaving Tottenham earlier this summer, having also featured for Derby in Premier League 2 back in August.
Torraj impressed during a month-loan trial at Burnley and has now put pen to paper over a one-year professional deal.
He has made seven youth appearances for Albania in total from the Under-16 to Under-19 age groups.
The youngster is excited to join the Clarets’ ranks and believes it is the right place to continue his development.
He told the club’s website: “Having been around the lads for a few weeks now, and played a few games as a Trialist, I’m proud to be signing for a club like Burnley.
“Even in my short time here already, I can see it’s a good place for people to develop on and off the pitch.
“You look at the U21s squad especially this season and we have some good talent, which I am buzzing to be a part of.
“For me now, it’s all about working hard and continuing on the right path. The club, and the people around me, will help me to do just that.”
