Manuel Benson is pushing for a start following an impressive cameo off the bench against Sunderland, scoring his second goal for the club.
Defensive pair Ian Maatsen and Jordan Beyer have both missed the last couple of games through injury.
Meanwhile, Isaac Hayden and Dimitris Giannoulis returned to the Norwich starting line-up at the weekend.
Sam McCallum has returned to training ahead of schedule, but Kenny McLean and Andrew Omobamidele are both unavailable.
Opposition lowdown
Norwich were also relegated from the Premier League last season, finishing bottom of the table after a difficult campaign.
The Canaries are currently in seventh place – just a point off the play-off places after winning seven of their opening 16 matches.
However, Dean Smith’s side have failed to win any of their last five games following a 2-2 draw against Sheffield United at the weekend.

Burnley have faced Norwich 43 times in their history, with a record of 19 wins, eight draws and 16 defeats.
The Clarets were beaten 2-0 when the sides met back in April after goals from Pierre Lees-Melou and Teemu Pukki either side of half time.
Burnley’s last win in the fixture came in July 2020 when Chris Wood and a Ben Godfrey own goal sealed a 2-0 victory at Carrow Road.
