Burnley are back on the road this weekend as they make the journey to take on Mark Robins’ Coventry City.
Vincent Kompany’s side were held to a 1-1 draw against Stoke City on Wednesday night after Harry Clarke scored a late equaliser.
The Clarets are currently fifth in the Championship table – five points behind current leaders Sheffield United.
Team news
Ashley Westwood is back training on grass following a lengthy spell on the sidelines after suffering a serious ankle injury last season.
Scott Twine hasn’t featured since the first game of the season, and Kompany refuses to put a timeframe on his return at this stage.
Jordan Beyer, Vitinho and Manuel Benson returned to the side against Stoke, while Johann Berg Gudmundsson and Anass Zaroury both came off the bench during the second half.
Meanwhile, the hosts have no fresh injury concerns and could name the same side that started against Bristol City on Tuesday night.
Opposition lowdown
Coventry finished 12th in the Championship table last season under Mark Robins, who is one of the longest-serving managers in the Football League.
The Sky Blues currently sit at the foot of the table, although it is worth noting they have several games in hand over the sides above them.
Robins’ side drew 0-0 against Bristol City in their last outing, extending their unbeaten run to four league matches.
Head-to-head
Burnley have faced Coventry 48 times in their history, with a record of 23 wins, 13 draws and 12 defeats.
The sides haven’t met since April 2012 when Clive Platt cancelled out Charlie Austin’s opener in a 1-1 draw at Turf Moor.
The Clarets’ last win in the fixture came in October 2011 when Austin and Ross Wallace were both on target in a 2-1 victory.
