Former Blackburn Rovers player Gordon Taylor, now chief executive of the Professional Footballers' Association, after he collected his OBE.
He was given the award by the Prince of Wales during an investiture ceremony at Buckingham Palace.
Mr Taylor lives in Wiswell.
