Darwen manager Dennis Hill is targeting five new players as he starts to rebuild the side in time for next season.
The Salmoners travel to Stone Dominoes tomorrow for their final league game of the season without Matt Woods, Paul Lynch and Matt Anderton.
But Hill is already looking forward to the start of the next campaign.
He said: "I keep on saying it, but I'm just looking forward to the end of the season.
"We played well last weekend against Oldham Town. We're not a million miles away, I just need about four or five players and I think we can have a real go."
