Neil Hodgson scored two fourth places in round three of the AMA Superbike Championship, held at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California.
The Burnley bullet was involved in a race-long scrap for third in race one.
Early podium contenders Aaron Yates, Jason DiSalvo, and Hodgson all suffered incidents while trying to secure the position.
In a less frenetic race two, Hodgson's Honda America machine trailed Tommy Hayden and race winner Ben Spies.
Round four of the series is at the Infineon Raceway, Sonoma, California, on May 16-18.
