Baber Naeem enjoyed a successful weekend with bat and ball while Barnoldswick continue to spring surprises in the Veka Ribblesdale League senior division.

The Edenfield professional took a hat-trick in Saturday's three wicket win over Padiham.

Twenty four hours later, the Pakistani all-rounder smashed an unbeaten 110 in a rain affected draw against Barlick.' Naeem finished with 8-40 as Padiham were dismissed for just 95.

The Gincroft Lane side reached their target, largely due to Jamie Kelly's half century.

Naeem's ton came out of a total of 141-2 in 26 overs.

But while Barnoldswick made a start to their run chase, the wet weather soon intervened.
