For the second succesive season, Bacup Borough have prolonged the promotion celebrations for Salford City - and helped their own relegation worries in the meantime.
Bacup enjoyed the best of the play early on and, on the half-hour mark, they netted a deserved opener as a clever run from midfielder Steve Stott saw him through on goal to finish past keeper Martin Campbell.
But a magnificent 35-yard rocket shot from Lathan Forrester saw the visitors level.
The hosts enjoyed the better of the play after the interval, but they went behind on 75 minutes when Stephen Brackenridge found a way past keeper Phil Melville.
However, with five minutes left, Brent Peters' side got their just rewards when Dominic Slavin headed home Tony Carroll's cross.
