DION Dublin's quickfire opener rocked unchanged Burnley at Carrow Road.
The veteran striker was completely unmarked when he side-footed home inside the six-yard box to give Norwich the lead after just 61 seconds.
The Canaries continued to look dangerous on the break, while restricting Burnley to long-range efforts.
Joey Gudjonsson went the closest to getting the Clarets back on level terms before the break, but his 25-yard drive was well saved by David Marshall.
