FOUR players were sent off in a chaotic second-half as Burnley crashed to defeat at the KC Stadium tonight.
The Clarets were two goals down to Hull at half-time.
They went behind in the 15th minute when Fraizer Campbell's shot squirmed underneath Brian Jensen, after the Danish goalkeeper looked to have made a save.
Just before the half-hour, Richard Garcia's right-foot rocket put extra daylight between the two sides, who are both chasing a play-off place.
But after the break, four players were given their marching orders by referee Mike Riley.
Hull's Caleb Folan was first to see red on 68 minutes, before Clarets skipper Caldwell followed him three minutes later for two quick bookings.
Jay-Jay Okocha received a straight red on 75 minutes before Joey Gudjonsson, on as a first-half sub, was also shown two yellow cards.
The closest Burnley came to reducing the deficit came when Andrew Cole hit the crossbar from Wade Eliiot's cross.
