Burnley are back in Championship action tonight as they welcome Millwall to Turf Moor (KO 7:45pm).
Vincent Kompany’s men enter the game on the back of an emphatic 5-1 win against North West rivals Wigan Athletic.
Team news
Ian Maatsen remains suspended after he was sent off during the final stages of the 3-3 draw with Blackpool.
Johann Berg Gudmundsson came through 66 minutes against Wigan – his first league appearance of the season after returning from injury.
New signing Denis Franchi could be included in the squad after completing a move from French giants Paris Saint-Germain.
As for the visitors, Mason Bennett remains sidelined after missing the last three matches due to a hamstring problem.
Opposition lowdown
Millwall brought in several fresh faces during the summer including the likes of Zian Flemming and Benik Afobe.
Gary Rowett’s side are currently 16th in the Championship table, having taken seven points from their opening six matches.
The London club suffered a 1-0 defeat against current leaders Reading in their last outing after Naby Sarr’s first-half header.

Burnley have faced Millwall 60 times in their history, with a record of 22 wins, 19 draws and 19 defeats.
The Clarets recorded a 2-0 victory when the sides last met back in September 2022 thanks to goals from Josh Brownhill and Matej Vydra.
And the Lions were beaten 3-1 on their last trip to Turf Moor in 2014, with Danny Ings bagging a brace and Dean Marney also on target.
