Rovers overcame Hartlepool United in the opening round of the Carabao Cup, but what did fans have to say?
Jon Dahl Tomasson's men recorded a convincing 4-0 win against the League Two side thanks to goals from Scott Wharton, Bradley Dack, Tyrhys Dolan and Dilan Markanday.
Rovers will now head to Bradford City, who are managed by former boss Mark Hughes, in the second round.
Here is what supporters have said about the game on social media
A potential banana skin but the boys with an emphatic win at home to Hartlepool! Great to see Dack and Dolan on the scoresheet. Well done lads! #Rovers #CarabaoCup

Yes it may only be a cup game.
— Andy Peters (@AndyPeters316) August 10, 2022
Yes it may only be against a league two team
But it's all about game time for some fringe players, and some debuts for our youngsters, it's all about the experience, and the confidence boost. Wonder how many from tonight start on Sunday?
Smashed it ♥️

Adam Wharton looks like he’s been playing for 10 years. So composed and did not look out of place. Going to be a proper player! #Rovers
