ACCRINGTON Stanley boss John Coleman has vowed to strengthen his defence after watching his side get beat 1-0 at Darlington last night.
Stanley lost a goal to Tommy Wright inside the first minute of the game as they slid to their third consecutive defeat.
And Coleman is hoping to have a defender from a Championship club in his side to face Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday.
He said: "We can't keep giving teams a goal start like that. It was bad defending again by one of our main protagonists, by that I mean Robbie Williams.
"He has been a fantastic player for us, but we set ourselves targets, and we fell short of them after 25 seconds.
"It is not good enough and it has cost us.
"I would say that we were the better team and, on another day, we would have won it.
"We have got a central defender from a Championship club who is quick and I hope he will start on Saturday."
