Gordon Strachan does not expect Celtic attacker Derek Riordan to leave the club for Burnley.
Reports have suggested that Burnley offered £400,000 for the Scotland cap, who has struggled for regular football at Parkhead.
But Bhoys boss Strachan will not sell for that figure and has hinted Riordan has a future at the club after featuring against Kilmarnock last weekend.
"I think the only direct offer is for Derek and that's not going to happen at that price," said Strachan.
"And it's not going to happen because I played him in a game of football in an emergency, and I trusted Derek to go in there and do well, and he did well."
