JOHN Miles has joined League Two leaders MK Dons on loan until the end of the season after a disappointing spell with Accrington Stanley.
The midfielder has struggled for form at the Fraser Eagle Stadium following his move from Macclesfield Town last summer.
The 26-year-old has made just 12 league starts for Stanley this term - with a further four substitute appearances - but has failed to fully convince manager John Coleman.
Having come through the ranks at Liverpool, Miles had short spells at Stoke and Crewe before making 113 appearances for Macclesfield.
His final season at the Moss Rose club showed promise, scoring five League Two goals, including a brace against Stanley in the penultimate game of the campaign.
But his performances for Accrington have failed to live up to the billing, and Miles has now teamed up with MK Dons boss Paul Ince again, having played under Ince at Macclesfield.
He could now make his MK Dons debut this afternoon as the league leaders host Rochdale.
