CRYSTAL Palace boss Patrick Vieira has praised Burnley’s defensive resilience ahead of Saturday’s Premier League clash.
The Clarets enter the game in high spirits following back-to-back wins against Brighton and Tottenham.
Sean Dyche’s men are now up to 18th in the Premier League table – two points behind Newcastle, who have played an extra game.
Vieira is expecting a tough test against the Clarets and insists they are tough to break down.
“They are in a really good period. They won the last couple of games and did not concede a goal,” said the Palace boss.
“They are really organised and they don’t give you many chances. We have to respect our gameplan and play with tempo to try to create those chances.”
The Eagles are currently 11th in the table and recorded a convincing 4-1 win at Watford on Wednesday night.
Vieira was delighted with his side’s display at Vicarage Road and is keen to maintain their momentum.
He added: "Before the Watford game we had a couple games where we had good performance but didn't get the result we wanted.
“I was really pleased as the performance was there and we managed to win the game. It was really important for the confidence.
“We didn't have any doubt of what we want to do and how we want to do it. I think the challenge for us is to keep the momentum.
“We know how difficult it is to win in the Premier League back-to-back."
