ROVERS' winless run continued following a 1-0 defeat against 10-man Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.
Ben Davies scored the winner in the second minute of stoppage time, slotting home from close range.
Reda Khadra had earlier missed a penalty as Rovers' goal drought stretched to five games.
Here's what fans had to say about the game.
There can be no excuses, we should not have lost this game. This is falling apart very quickly. Other teams stepping up as we slip away. Saturday is now huge. #Rovers

It's frustrating especially with the current run and although I can't speak for all #Rovers fans I think if we were offered tonight's league table at the start of the season most would of taken it. Tonight is disappointing, we're on a bad run but there is still a lot to play for.

Gutted and deflated after that.

But a bit of perspective, I would have taken this position with 13 matches to go.
We need to start firing soon though.
Keep believing #Rovers
Dreadful result, obviously. But if there’s one team in this league that can bounce back from a result / game like that its us! We were always going to go through a bad run. But there’s definitely more to come from us this season. #rovers #brfc https://t.co/4QMi3wPHje

The worst thing about this run is we are generally sound defensively, making this even more frustrating. #rovers

Really frustrating result tonight

Poor first half and better second half. Still unsure where our next goal comes from and feel for Khadra
No panic from me just yet. At this moment we’re still in the play offs- doesn’t matter if we finish 3rd or 6th
Big game on Saturday #rovers
Get Dack back on the bench for the weekend even if we just put him on for the last 5 minutes. Players and fans need a moral boost now #Rovers

Is our season over? No. Not at all.

But every game we go without a win - or even a goal, for that matter - gets more and more concerning.
I have faith that when the first goal/win comes, the rest will follow.
It’s just a case of getting that first one.#Rovers
Feels like a season defining game that. If we had won like we should of done the confidence would of shot up and we would of had a chance of playoffs. We’ve never been lucky but that is brutal tonight. QPR & Hudds aswell. Devastating. #Rovers

Said towards the end of the window I was concerned we didnt bring an additional "Number 9" in and so it has proved. Saturday is massive #Rovers

Got to stick by them but we’ve got to start putting the ball in the back of the net. Should have been out of sight tonight.

QPR on Saturday is absolutely massive. #Rovers 🌹
