BURNLEY manager Owen Coyle hopes to have "closure" on at least one of his transfer targets by the end of today.
The Clarets boss has lodged bids totalling more than £2million for targets in the last fortnight, including one he hoped to secure early this week following the departure of Andy Gray to Charlton Athletic.
But it seems that will come to a direct conclusion today.
"I would certainly hope to get closure on that one today, one way or the other," he said.
"It has dragged on longer than it should have and I have to say that is through no fault of ours.
"It has been frustrating, but we have been patient and respectful of the club involved."
Coyle added: "I am expecting to hear something back on a couple of things by lunchtime, but we remain actively in pursuit of a few players."
