ACCRINGTON Stanley have secured the future of promising young winger Bobby Grant by offering the teenager his first professional contract.
The 17-year-old left-footer - a product of Stanley's YTS scheme - has agreed an 18-month deal with the Reds.
Grant made his first-team debut for Stanley against MK Dons on the final game of last season, but has been limited to reserve-team outings this term.
"Bobby's a really good lad. He's got a sweet left foot, and he's wanting to learn all the time," said Stanley assistant manager Jimmy Bell.
"Obviously, he's still young, but I can see him having a good career at Accrington and making a real success of it here."
