RAMSBOTTOM United officials were hard at work clearing about an inch of standing water at their Riverside ground yesterday.
A large section of United's pitch was flooded due to incessant rain.
But the Vodkat League Division One club managed to clear all of the water with a high-volume pump machine.
"The pitch is okay now," said Ramsbottom chairman Harry Williams.
"Obviously, a lot of rain has come down, but we've managed to clear it."
United's scheduled home fixture against Atherton Collieries last Saturday was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
But they hope to be ready for their next home game against Atherton LR on February 2.
