ACCRINGTON Stanley goalkeeper Kenny Arthur made his comeback from a broken leg injury in last night's 3-0 reserve defeat at Carlisle United.
The 29-year-old Scotsman - who broke his leg against Bradford in October - played for just over an hour at Brunton Park before making way for Reds youngster Martin Fearon.
But, thankfully, Arthur came through the Carlisle test unscathed.
"Kenny did okay for an hour and felt no after-effects," said Reds assistant manager Jimmy Bell.
"But I'm sure there will be a bit of soreness in the morning.
"It's all about games for Kenny. He's back in full training, but he needs another two or three games before we can consider him for the first-team again.
"He knows that too. He's just got to stay patient for a bit longer.
"But the signs are looking good for him."
Stanley fell behind to Carlisle in the first minute, with Kevin Gall opening the scoring.
Gall and Shaun Vipond completed the scoring.
