CLITHEROE manager Neil Reynolds has leapt to the defence of chairman Carl Garner who has come under fire from supporters over the sale of players.
Angry Blues fans have vented their frustration after Joel Byrom left for Northwich Victoria and central defender Greg Anderson was snapped up by Buxton.
And they have accused Garner of moving the players on without the knowledge of the manager.
But Reynolds insists the players were sold after discussion between himself, co-manager Peter Smith and Garner.
He said: "Every signing that is made or players who are sold at Clitheroe goes through myself, Pete Smith and the chairman.
"I knew all about Joel Byrom and Greg Anderson. It's simply not true what people are saying. I can assure the fans we are all working together for the good of the club."
