BURNLEY'S leading scorer Andy Gray is set to sign for Charlton Athletic.
A fee of £1.5million, which could rise to £2m with add-ons, has been agreed between the two clubs after the Clarets rejected a seven-figure bid earlier in the week.
Gray will now discuss personal terms with Burnley's Championship rivals before the deal is finalised.
He will therefore not be in Owen Coyle's squad for tomorrow's game away at Coventry City.
Clarets boss Coyle admitted he was reluctant to let Gray go, but felt his hands were tied."I think he had been made aware that he could double his salary, but at that time there wasn't a deal that suited this football club," he said."Subsequent to that, Charlton made an improved offer and after receiving that I received a second visit from Andy, reiterating that he wanted to go."Ipswich striker Alan Lee is now thought to be lined up for a return to Turf Moor, in a deal worth £900,000.
