STANLEY chairman Eric Whalley has revealed at least six players could be heading out the exit door at the Fraser Eagle Stadium.
Whalley admitted the club would have to move players out before manager John Coleman could add to his squad, with Stanley hoping to sign at least two new defenders before the end of the transfer window.
He said: "At least half a dozen players have been made available to other clubs. Whether they go or not is another matter.
"Four players have been told they have no future here."
And Coleman admitted it was a "balancing act" to get the right players in and out.
He added: "We've got a big squad here at the moment. Unless we move people on then we can't do anything. We don't have a bottomless pit of money."
One player set to leave on loan is Lee McEvilly, who travelled south yesterday to discuss personal terms with Blue Square Premier side Cambridge United with a view to a possible loan deal.
