HAPTON co-driver Daniel Barritt has signed up for this year's British Championship alongside Philip Morrow.
The duo, along with Guy Wilks and Phil Pugh, will lead the Mitsubishi challenge in this year's competition.
And he is confident they can put up a strong challenge.
He said: "Ourselves and our team-mate Guy are probably two of the strongest teams in the Championship and we've probably got one of the strongest cars in the Championship. We just need a bit of luck to get the results."
Barritt has been with Morrow, the 2007 Evolution Challenge Champion, for the last two seasons and he admitted he had no hesitation in joining him again this year.
He added: "It's really just a continuation of what we've built on over the last two years. We've spent a lot of time together and we've got a good working relationship. It was just a natural decision to keep it going."
This year marks the Mitsubishi team's fourth season in the British Championship and, having claimed the team's title and finished first and third in the driver's standings, Team Principal and General Manager for Ralliart Paul Brigden, said the plan was to go one better this year.
"Of course it's difficult to top last season, but we had our fair share of misfortune and, although there was no doubt that we had the quickest cars out there, we missed out on a one-two result at the end of the year," he said.
"Therefore, our goal for 2008 has to be to finish as many events as we can in first and second places and to end the year retaining the team's title and occupying the top two places in the driver's championship."
ADR Motorsport will continue to prepare and run the two works Lancers, one of which is on display on the Mitsubishi stand at the Autosport Show, the other currently being built in the company's Chesterfield workshops.
Barritt will also be taking part in the Production World Rally Championship with Japanese driver Fumio Nutahara, which starts with Rally Argentina at the end of March.
And he is to star in the Middle East Rally Championship.
He added: "It's going to be a really busy season, but I've managed to fit it all in. I think I'm doing 17 rallies in nine months."
