BURNLEY manager Owen Coyle has confirmed that none of the un-named trialists at Turf Moor will be offered terms.
The trialists took part in yesterday's behind-closed-doors friendly against Crewe but Coyle has decided they would not figure in his long-term plans.
Burnley ran out 3-2 winners against Crewe yesterday afternoon, with Steve Jones scoring a brace against his former club.
However, Coyle conceded they would not be pursuing their interest in the trialists who were involved in the match.
He said: "We won't be taking it any further. They acquited themselves well, some of them hadn't played for a while so they were a bit match rusty, but they all showed within themselves some good stuff.
"The question was whether they would be ready to go into our first team?
"But these were players who were offered to us and we had a look, because nothing ventured, nothing gained.
"They were not our number one targets, they remain in our sight."
